SELREC operates the Selecta and Shotgun record labels and are exclusive UK and EU licensees for the American catalogues of Quinvy, South Camp, Harthon and Creative Funk etc.

Shotgun Records has released vintage tracks on singles by acclaimed artists such as David Sea, Rozetta Johnson, Sam Dees, Eddie Floyd, Sir Ted Ford, Sandra Wright, Rhetta Hughes, Don Varner, Gloria Lynne and DEBBIE TAYLOR. Our Selecta label is focused on contemporary soul music and has issued singles by Sheba Potts-Wright, Bobby Hutton and Simone De.

We have licensed masters to record companies such as Universal, Demon, Ace, Passion, Expansion, Backbeats, Soul Brother, BBE, Outta Sight, Z Records, Sanctuary, Record Shack, Beatin’ Rhythm, Grapevine, Odeon Entertainment and others.

More than two thousand commercially released tracks have been mastered at our Suite Sixteen studio (originally known as South Union) during the past twelve years. Our mastering and custom pressing clients include Capitol/EMI, Soulscape, Beatin’ Rhythm, Soul Intention, Hit And Run, Grapevine and Soul Purpose etc.

Recent mastering projects include tracks by The Four Tops, Gloria Jones, The Supremes, Eddie Floyd, The Limelites, Nolan Porter, Eli ‘Paperboy’ Reed & The True Loves and the legendary GEORGE JACKSON to name just a few.

SELREC is owned by music publisher Paul Mooney, managing director of Millbrand Music which controls an active catalogue of timeless songs from the golden age of soul and black music. Millbrand is represented in all territories outside the UK and North America by Imagem Music Group which is headquartered in the Netherlands and has offices worldwide.
